England’s Creative Coast is a cultural adventure for 2021 that connects and celebrates the stunning South East coastline of England. Discover seven new contemporary artworks in the breath-taking coastal landscape across Essex, Kent and East Sussex and take part in the worlds first ever Art GeoTour. In Essex a new sculpture by Katrina Palmer at Metal, Southend is linked to six geocaches along the Essex coast from Southend to Harwich. Artists Lawrence Bradby and writer James Wilkes have created ‘listening mirrors’ that allow you to hear local people reflecting on the sounds of the local area. There is one hidden at the Naze and close by at Harwich and Jaywick. Naze Tower helped facilitate the geocache and workshops with local people at Walton, thanks for participating!
